"Young Girl with Parasol"

I saw this little girl walking near a museum on a hot summer day. She was all dressed up and very independent.The child's parents were nearby, but she insisted on walking alone. I was captivated by her attitude, by the colours, and by the shapes... stars on her parasol, the circle of her hat, and the hexagonal shape of the shadow against the concrete squares.
